Identifying Anomalous Zones
As one of the products of the MobileMT surveys, we identify anomalous zones, determine their trends, find their axes at different depths, and represent them in 3D with a resistivity rank. The example shows color-coded resistivity ‘valleys’ axes distributed with depths over a part of the Virgin River Shear Zone in the Northern Saskatchewan (Shadow Project, Baselode Energy Corp.).

3D resistivity voxel of one of the prospective #MobileMT anomalies from the Dukat district (Kolyma River Basin, Far East of Russia). Warm colors correspond to low resistivities, cold – to high resistivities. Dukat (epithermal type of mineralization) is one of the world’s largest silver deposits but the surrounding territory is underexplored in depth. For the first time in the ore district, a resistivity model was constructed up to a depth of more than 2 km from the #MobileMT survey. As seen in the example of an anomaly, #MobileMT was able to recover buried deep dome structures and subvertical conductive zones interpreted as ore deposition structures and fluid transport channels from the upper contact of the deep magmatic bodies to the near-surface host rocks followed by alterations mapped on the surface.
