Procurement Specialist (Technical Components)

Expert Geophysics is a growing, innovation-driven geophysical technology company specializing in the development and deployment of advanced airborne survey systems. Our work depends on high-quality components, precision engineering, and strong relationships with specialized suppliers. We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to support our operations and ensure the reliable sourcing of critical technical materials, electronic components, and field equipment essential to our systems and projects.
Job Type:
This is a full-time role consisting of 40 hours per week. There is an existing vacancy for this position.

Essential Qualifications Include:
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
3–5 years of procurement experience, preferably in a technical, industrial, or engineering environment.
Strong understanding of technical components (e.g., electronics, mechanical parts, geophysical or instrumentation equipment) is an asset.
Proven negotiation and vendor management skills.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with advanced proficiency in Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications Include:
Procurement related designation (e.g., SCMP).
Experience maintaining records for SR&ED (Scientific Research and Experimental Development) activities.
Compensation
This position offers a salary range of $60,000 to $80,000 annually. While the full range is posted for transparency, our target hiring rate for this role is typically at the midpoint of the range. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate’s skills, education and relevant experience as they relate to the role.
